FP&A Associate | Laba Global
Online education is an area of explosive startups and investments. By 2025, the global EdTech market will be worth more than $400 billion.
The Laba Group team started 8 years ago and we are already EdTech leaders in Ukraine.
In 2020, we entered the European market, and now we are actively working on projects in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Hungary, Czechia, Germany and the United States.
Briefly about us:
- in 2015, the first master class was launched in Kyiv, which grew into the Laba business school
- in 2019, the creative school SKVOT was opened
- in 2020, we opened offices in 5 European countries and robot_dreams — a school of programming, analytics and data science
- we are leading the online education market in Eastern Europe
- launched 568+ courses and taught 115,000+ students from over 50 countries
- our lecturers are from Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Nike, and other prominent leaders of the business
We have built a strong team, recognized by Forbes and Harvard Business Review. To keep achieving goals, we need more professionals. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated FP&A Associate whose primary target will be to take an active part in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for the entire Laba Group conducting detailed financial analysis, therefore contributing to improvement initiatives across 9 different jurisdictions.
Your areas of influence
on the company's
development:
- Take part in the forecasting (monthly) and budgeting (annual) streams for the group of companies;
- Engage in detailed financial analysis across various business scenarios and initiatives;
- Prepare and maintain regular reports providing valuable insights into various financial metrics;
- Contribute to business process improvement initiatives, aiming to reduce internal errors and optimize efficiency;
- Engage in high-level communication with senior and middle management;
- Serve as an HQ guide for local country finance associates in forecasting and planning streams.
We'll feel a connection
if you have:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or other relevant finance areas;
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets;
- Solid understanding of IFRS;
- Ability to process large volumes of data quickly;
- Good level of English with at least Upper-Intermediate speaking skills;
- Excellent time management skills and backlog management experience.
Strong advantage
(but not obligatory)
if you also have:
- CIMA or other professional qualifications in progress;
- Expertise in different accounting software solutions;
- Previous experience of working in the international environment.
